“Magic exists. Who can doubt it, when there are rainbows and wildflowers, the music of the wind and the silence of the stars? Anyone who has loved has been touched by magic. It is such a simple and such an extraordinary part of the lives we live.” ― Nora Roberts
I want to say right up front that I am not an official Lelutka Blogger, so all the heads I have purchased myself, with the exception of two that were bought for me, by my beautiful sisters, Kess and Sassy. However, like many people on the grid I will use whatever resources I can to acquire things as quickly as possible. Thus, I acquired the new Gaia head and played with it straight away. To my immediate surprise, I discovered that this head came with THREE sets of ears. There’s the basic human ears that are already attached to the head. There are the standard elf ears that have become a fixture with the new Evo X line. However, the big surprise was that there was fox ears, too!!! WHAT?!?!? Now, I love me some cats and I am quite feline in nature. However, I rarely go full out neko anymore. These ears are quite tempting, but at my age…well, I just feel like they are a bit costumey for me. Yes, I made up a word. With that said, I have seen soooo many girls wearing these and they are sooo damn cute!! I’m not even sure that this head’s base features work for my personal look and preferences, but this head is definitely a game changer. If you are looking for a new look, something that isn’t quite like everyone else…I recommend that you at least demo this adorable new head. Play with it and experiment with different skins, cuz we all know that a skin can change everything. For instance, I’m wearing the new Sora skin from Glam Affair in this photo, but when I tried on some other skins it was a completely new look from this one. This also inspired me to go have a look at the Lelutka store for which heads I don’t own. What I discovered (yes, I’m slow) is that they have updated quite a few of their previous heads to Evo X. So, the next time you see me, I’ll be wearing Erin Evo X and it will look a lot more like Sady than this one. The moral of the story is…if this isn’t the head for you, try looking at some of the updated heads. You just don’t know what you might find until you try it out. This is the cheapest plastic surgery on the planet, so why not play with it and have some fun!?!?

One of my favorite aspects about mesh is the land impact that is saved. I remember years ago, feeling like such a prim whore, because I wanted those little details that really personalize a sliving space. However, back then you could use up 100 prims just decorating an end table. Now, most of the knick knacks are 1-3 li at most and I am so grateful. With that said, if you’re like me and love giving your sliving space some individual flare, then you need to know about Spruce. Spruce is a new store and yes, the creator is a friend of mine. Most of you are familiar with Harlow Heslop from Burrow Co and various other community spaces before that. However, she has taken on creating adorable decor items like pillows, candles, and now picture frames. I’m a huge fan of frames, as most of my friends and family are photographers. I love displaying their beautiful faces and talents around my home. I encourage you all to check out her store, located on the Burrow Co sim, as well as taking a good look at some of the other little decorative decor elements being made at various decor stores. Don’t limit your vision to complete decor sets, but mix things up. I hope that my photo showcases a little bit about that very subject and if my post doesn’t inspire you, please take a look at some of the amazing decor shots you can find in some of the home groups on flickr.
It would seem that I’ve been bitten by the decor bug again. I’m sure it will pass, it always does. I’ll be back to cranking out fashion pics hand over fist in no time. For now, here’s what I’m serving up today. A magical Easter feast in the park? I dunno man, I just wanted to decorate this table with some of the goodies at Bloom, okay? Why are you giving me the third degree? GAH! *laughs* Yeah, this is very much like a conversation I have with myself. Anyway…have a good look, everything you see (except background foilage) is from Bloom or TLC (which I now own, in case I haven’t mentioned that). HA! Listen…it’s late…*looks at the clock*…ok, it’s late somewhere! All I know is that I’m tired and feeling exceptionally goofy tired.
I’ve always loved rooftop scenes in movies and tv shows. It always looks so cool with the way they make the roof of a building into something completely different. When I was growing up, my mother always had a lot of houseplants. She would struggle when we lived in apartments, because she wanted a yard where she could plant bushes and outdoor flowers. None of the buildings we ever lived in had a flat rooftop that my mom could use for gardening, but it was always something I wished she could have done. So, when I saw the Akina Garden Set from Serenity Style, I knew this was my chance to create a rooftop area that would be unlike anything else I’ve done. I had a lot of fun setting this all up to look like my avatar was getting photographed for her Instagram in her rooftop paradise. Who knows, maybe I’ll do more rooftop photography. I kinda dig it. *giggles* See what I did there? Yeah, I know, I’m punny. *sticks her tongue out*

This has not been a merry holiday season for me. It has been more of a medical season. First I was diagnosed with a genetic heart disease that puts me at risk for sudden death and now diabetes. I don’t know the details on the diabetes yet, I’ll find out more about that next week. Yay. -_- I am exhausted and we’re not even half way into the month yet. When I took this picture I was thinking about how exhausting the holidays can be in general. I was inspired by the Christmas Fails Gacha colleciton at Tannenbaum, cuz that’s my kinda luck. However, after my appointment this morning, the only thing that’s really on my mind is my health. *sighs* I guess 2021 is literally going to be a new life for me. I have to change so many things about my life going forward. As my sister has pointed out, I’m not going to war. So, there’s a silver lining. *laughs*

It’s Tannenbaum Time and there are few things on the grid to get you in the Christmas spirit, like Tannenbaum by Prism Events! Today, I’m only listing the three items that are most prevalent in this photo. My attire will be listed in a future post to better showcase what I’m actually wearing. The main reason I put Mace and myself in the photo was to show off one of the poses in the sled. This sled is so beautifully detailed and pairs so well with this new Wanderlust Cottage by Hisa, that you are sure to see them featured together quite a bit. Of course, I couldn’t resist showing of the adorable Winter Pug by Foxwood, there are several in the pack so I highly recommend grabbing these. I have so many more items to share with you from the event, but these three should be enough to give you that little nudge. Head on over to the event and enjoy the festivities.♥
I think its important to remember that we are blessed. Yes, this world is a mess right now, but if you’re reading this it means you have the internet. While it might seem like a necessity, it is actually a luxury that many people do not have for a variety of reasons. It really is a good idea to take stock of our lives and the count the various blessings that surround us. The simplest of things can be taken away in a flash. The roof over our heads, the food in our bellies, the friends that we reach out to…all these things could be gone in a flash. So, while the world’s troubles weigh heavy on all of our hearts, let us also remember to be grateful. ♥
I am absolutely obsessed with this kitchen. The cabinet doors open!!! So, because the upper cabinets are glass doors, I had to put stuff in there…and because I love the little surprise of opening a cabinet to discover actual things in there, I left some doors open so you could catch a peek at some of the amazing little creations out there to give your kitchen an even more realistic touch.
I am not a family rp person, but you wouldn’t know it by the details I put into my kitchens. I am so completely excited about getting a kitchen just right! This kitchen has a lot of color options in a hud. I chose these colors to kind of show it off better, but if you love a great kitchen…I cannot recommend this one enough!
