Life is an adventure. Half of the adventure is the journey. As much as some of us (like me) enjoy our solitude, its also important that we learn to lean on one another. Enjoy each other’s company. For one reason or another, those we love may not be around forever. I’m not talking about death. I’m talking about people growing apart. We’ve all heard the saying, “People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.” We have to be willing to accept that change happens and sometimes people grow apart. It’s not always for a bad reason and we have to be willing to accept that its not always personal. Even if it is, chances are…their purpose in our life has been met. I’ve had many people come and go from my life over the years. I resent very few, because I choose to remember the good times. I choose to remember the good that came from that friendship/relationship. So, whether near or far, its important for us to be grateful for all those people that have been part of our journey and part of this adventure we call life.
