Life of the Party

As far back as I can remember, my mother has always set the most amazing tables for dinner parties and holiday gatherings. Needless to say, she’s always cooked far too much food. I’m not going to write a lot here, just that this entire scene is dedicated to my mom.

My mother has always insisted that the room is actually the life of the party and decor plays a huge part in that.

The key to all of my mother’s dishes, fancy dinner or not, is presentation.

And no matter what, even when she’s lived completely alone, Christmas time requires decorations. It’s the law!
