Three C’s, Plus One More

The 3 C’s of Life: Choices, Chances, Changes. You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change.

I was checking blogs the other day and one of the bloggers I manage, Luane Meo, had used this quote in her photo. She didn’t elaborate or anything. She simply used to quote. When I approved her post, I told her how much I loved the quote and that I’d probably borrow it for my own blog. However, to be fair, I’d love for you to check out her photo and give it a fav as I had not heard this quote before. I can’t even find where it originated, but I did find on several sites across the world wide web.

I love this quote for so many reasons, but mainly because it can actually be applied to just about any situation. From the simplest of decisions to the most difficult. Thinking about a new hairstyle? Make the choice to take the chance to make that change. It’s just hair, it’ll grow back. Afraid of love, but feeling lonely? Make the choice to be open to taking the chance or stay lonely, right? It’s just one of those quotes that I think can really be a life changer if you apply it correctly. I don’t suggest you use it as justification to hurt someone, but to better your own life.

Of course, my favorite C word is one that seems to offend an awful lot of people, but it’s one that I identify with. I’ll never truly understand why people allow a word so much power over them. Why they allow a simple word to offend them, anger them, or make them cringe. That’s a topic for another post, though, isn’t it?

  1. Chuckling because I am one that the C word does make me cringe and yes it is just a word ~ guess am so very old school and how it was used and the implication it made was ingrained…but the quote and your post was fabulous and loved her image ~ pure ~ thanks for sharing ♥
